after Pittsburgh . . .

We were not done!

We got back in the car and started off again.

We drove through:

and spent the night in the state:

that has a state dance - square dancing!

where Cracker Jacks were introduced

that boasts one it's cities as the "Pumpkin Capital of the World"

Any guesses?

My goodness, Kelly, this was the mother of all road trips. I know you're happy to be home now!

Any idea how many miles you guys clocked?

Ahhh... well you drove THROUGH Indiana and you say pumpkin capital of the world... My guess is Illinois.

And what a FUN way to spend the summer... road tripping all over the place. I've managed to turn my hubby in to a road tripping fiend as well. Our next road trip will be to Washington DC in December.. only this time we'll have a teeny 3month old passeneger along... I figure we'll get him initiated early :)

It looks like you guys had a fantastic road trip! My guess is Illinois also. I didn't know the trivia about the state dance or the pumpkin capital of the world, but I did get the Cracker Jack clue. I just finished reading The Devil in the White City about the Chicago World's Fair. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes to read...especially if you also enjoy history. I'm glad you guys had a wonderful trip!
