family photos

While we were with my family in Colorado for Christmas we decided it would be nice to get some new family photos.
Armed with our Christmas present of a new camera and a $15 tripod bought off of Craigslist while we were there, we headed out . . .
It was REALLY cold!!!

Family photos . . . DIY style . . . and I think we got some good shots

And we definitely had more fun than if we'd gone to a professional "old school" studio.

You got great pictures! Imagine trying to get a picture of 9 grandkids--all ages 8 and under. For some reason the hardest one to get to look at the camera was the oldest one. The mother hen was too busy trying to make sure that all the babies were smiling. :-) We didn't even try to include all the adults in the pictures. Next year you all will have a lot more fun trying to get three little ones trying to smile at the camera.

Cute. I especially like the one where you're all looking at Caleb.

Those are wonderful! That one of Caleb hugging your neck is especially cute.

Oh! And C has his blanket! Of course, it may be the original or a twin. But I bet it helped ward off that cold air. I bet the hardest part of the pictures was taking off your warm coats so you could look pretty. :-)

Kori, I don't even really know you but I LOVE you for giving Caleb that blanket. He has about 6 of them spread between Nana's house, AnnMa's house, and Sweetie's house but there are two that are the original favorites... the one you gave him and the second one (that we also had his name embroidered on). He says, "These are my FAVORITE-favorite blankets. I like the ones that are just a LITTLE bit soft." The others are just not loved enough and they are TOO soft. So funny. THANKS!!!

I love that you girls are due the same day!! How special is that?! I am assuming you don't know what you are having? I haven't seen a post on that yet. We didn't find out with 2 of ours and found out with the other 3. It was much more fun not knowing for sure!
